Introduction

I would like to learn more about our history as Metis people. I have a very rich back ground as a Pruden. John Peter Pruden is Great Grand Father several generations back and to just discover this history brings pride.

Please tell us about yourself.

I'm a very Proud Metis woman who is constantly working on herself for the good of all things. If I am to be a leader, I need to walk the talk. Challenging journey at times but worth it in the end.

Tell us why you became a member.

I am wanting to know me as a metis woman. And I can only get that through others who share in an inclusive manner. Plus, I want to connect more with our metis community.

Tell us what you would like to do to help us become a better community.

I would like to deliver and share our culture to our metis youth so that they can walk with confidence and pride. I believe in fighting for what we have earned through hard work and resilience.
